Comments about Martin DRSGT Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Solid wood Martin dreads are classic and timeless. No disparagement intended to their green environment HPLs, but a solid wood Martin connects directly with the history of American music. This guitar does that in spades with an eye to the future. Like a D-18, this RD model's solid sapele (a mahogany cousin) and solid sitka top deliver classic acoustic tone and feel. The pickup and USB connectivity for computer DAW recording is an added plus and a very welcome feature for the next generation of musicians. A winner all around for under $1K. This is a Hands On review from John@samash music in NYC.

          High dollar martin feel

Comments about Martin DRSGT Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have been playing a while and I have to say that this is a really cool guitar. I have always loved martins ( I enjoy a slightly darker tone to an acoustic ) and this one is no exception. great feeling and super easy to play. It fit's right in with the rest of the martin family. I really don't have anything negative to say about it.

The Martin DRSGT Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a heck of a guitar with a great sound. The solid Sitka spruce top has a beautiful resonance with a warm lush tone. The fishman electronics are as usual some of the best. The USB connection is great if you want to plug and record to a computer with ease. Also comes with a hard case. How can you say no?

Martin's Road Series guitars offer great features at an affordable price. This guitar is no exception. You get a expertly crafted dreadnought that would be expected from a company that has essentially created the American guitar. The tone combination of a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides is a tried and true winning recipe for a balanced sound. The addition of top quality Fishman electronics and a hardshell case make this guitar an absolute steal at just under $1000. This guitar is perfect for anyone looking to step up from their entry level acoustic.

A Martin that everyone can obtain. I really liked the tone that came out of this guitar. The way an acoustic should sound. With a solid top and xx bracing this guitar is a dream. I like that it comes with a hard case a $150 value in itself. I am a staff reviewer at Sam Ash Music.

These guitars are an amazing buy. The price is right, and the guitar is exactly what you expect from a Martin. I have played several of these guitars, and they are all incredibly consistent. The tone is always well balanced and every one comes from the factory ready to play.

                                Don't hesitate.
