Expand your sonic palette with the Taylor 150e Dreadnought 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar, offering exceptional playability, tone and Taylor-quality craftsmanship at a price that doesn't break the bank.

Prized for their sleek, ultra-playable profiles, Taylor 12-string necks have offered players an incredible 12-string experience. Fitting that renowned comfort and playability into a budget-friendly package, Taylor is proud to introduce another 12-string to the Taylor family with the Dreadnought 12-String 150e. The body is crafted from layered sapele paired with a solid Sitka spruce soundboard supported by specifically voiced 100 series 12-string bracing. The potent low-end of the Dreadnought 150e 12-String is beautifully balanced by the crisp octave shimmer, producing a lush, articulate voice with an extensive dynamic range. The 1-7/8" sapele neck is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard that boasts 6mm dot inlays. The matte-finished body, black binding and pickguard add a nice aesthetic touch. The Taylor 150e Dreadnought 12-String also comes performance-ready with the Taylor Expression System to faithfully capture the guitar's natural voice, a Tusq Nut/Saddle, and a set of chrome die-cast mini tuners. A Taylor gig bag is included with your purchase.

Comments about Taylor 150e Dreadnought 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I never really felt the "need" for a 12 string until I picked this one up and played it. I couldn't leave the store without it. After several weeks with this one I wonder how I could have not owned a 12 string. I am not a brand snob as I've seen dogs built by the "legends", but I am a sound snob. Interesting that this guitar, while made in Mexico, sounds every bit as nice as the one 3X it's price that strangely has no country of origin clearly marked anywhere? I'm not going to tell you this is the finest 12 string on the planet, but I can tell you the sample I bought is the finest for $699 I've ever held or heard.
