The DSL40C is ultra portable, ultra loud, and ultra Marshall.

The critically acclaimed Marshall DSL40C shares most of the same great features as the DSL100H: footswitchable classic/ultra gain channels, rear panel pentode/triode switch (40-watt down to 20-watt) and a rear panel series FX loop.

Unlike the Marshall JCM2000 DSL amps, the DSL40C features footswitchable digital reverb – channel change and reverb on/off footswitch is supplied. The popularity of the DSL40C lies in its feature-packed capability, versatility, its volume-to-size ratio, and its value for money.

The DSL40C is loaded with a single 12" 40 Watt Celestion Seventy 80 speaker.

Features:

  • 40 Watt Combo
  • 2 Channels (Classic Gain, Ultra Gain) With Independent Volume/Gain Controls

Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

A straight forward amp with the classic Marshall sound.
The controls are laid out in a simple, easy to use format. Has tons of gain for that great sound you would expect from Marshall. Built in reverb, 2 button foot switch and plenty of power.
Perfect for gigs, practice, jamming etc.
This can easily be your go to amp for almost any situation.
This is a hands on review from Billy at Sam Ash Music in Edison NJ.

Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

This amp is a power house! It has some real guts! This is one of best amps Marshall has made in a long time. The distortion channel is great and really sounds like the rock 'n roll tone musicians have grown to love over the years. It can be used on stages big and small. The built in reverb is really good as well. This is a hands on review from Zak at Sam Ash Buffalo Grove.

Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

This is the perfect amp for beginners or for those who aren't quite to the level of playing in front of thousands but still have small gigs or just want to improve upon their sound. All tube, this amp really captures that classic Marshall sound. The included footswitch is a nice touch that other amps don't include. All in all, if you've always wanted a Marshall but can afford a half stack, then this is the perfect choice for you. Amazing!

Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

You can never go wrong with a great Marshall amp and the DSL40C can just be added to that list. Perfect to achieve that no holds barred rock sound, this 40watt, all tube powerhouse can do anything from jamming in your room at home to playing venues and clubs. The built in reverb sounds killer and is a nice, rounded out touch to such a high gain machine. And if high gain isn't your cup of tea, the clean channel on this monster is sweet and full of life. If you're looking for a Marshall that can sing, but want to stay within a budget, look no further than the DSL40C.

Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

I got this amp a few days ago unexpectedly and realized its amazing. I'm going to use it to play things for my school, but I currently use it at home. It has a great classic gain channel that you can clean up, or slightly overdrive to get a nice tube amp sound. This amp is also all tube and has built in reverb. One of the things that aren't fun when it comes to this amp, is bringing it up stairs. It can also be too loud for apartment complexes so be careful when you crank it.
