Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

The Marshall DSL series is a great buy for someone who wants great tone at an affordable cost. Marshall has been and will continue to be one of the for most names in amps and though these may be cheaper your not losing out on that great Marshall tone. This amp has Two channels a clean and gain channel each with there own voicing's. Along with an added Tone Shift option which will help you carve out your tone even more, So you can find that sweet spot to just shred away on. Anyone who is looking for Marshall tone with out spending the normal Marshall price this is the amp for you.

Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

My dls40 combo is an amazing amp. I was looking for a powerful combo to replace my head and cab jcm 2000 and came across this combo. I was impressed with the crunch gain features that were clear and loud. I have used this primarily for small clubs but would feel it would work great in a studio.

Marshall amplification has always made a versatile amp that can cover metal, blues rock & more. This amp is no different. With the ability to dial down the wattage this amp would be great for almost any application. This is a real hands on product review from Big Jim at Sam Ash New Haven.

As a lifelong fan of arena rock Marshall Stack power I have to say that this little beast has the guts to fill up any md sized venue to small theatre. The amp is a two channel combo with clean and gain that is pronounced and defined. The Celestion is a 1x12 speaker with a closed back and grill to let the amp breath . The sound is raw and powerful for those looking for a combo to possibly substitute bigger amps that are hard to carry around at times such as a half stack .Its affordable and good for a variety of uses from studio to performance .

Do you play rock n' roll? Then you need a Marshall tube amp buddy!!!! This is a great way to get that classic Marshall tone without having to hire a crew to help you move your gear around. Loud enough to use at a gig or rehearsal but also opens up early on the knobs so you can get great tone at lower volumes for practice. Never gonna miss with a Marshall.

This is a great hard rocking combo. It's got 2 distinct channels, each with 2 modes, so you can get crystal clean tones, classic breakup, hard rocking growl, or face melting distortion. It's a little heavy, but attaching it to a luggage carrier with 2 casters and a handle for tilting it makes it easy to get to gigs. Throw an SM57 in front of it, and it's identical to a full marshall stack on 10!

Comments about Marshall DSL40C 1x12" 40-watt Combo Guitar Amplifier:

Marshall amps have been the choice of pros for quite a few years and with good reason: their amps deliver the tones that continue to thrill users and audiences. The Marshall DSL 40C adds luster to company's rich heritage given its versatility -- a click of a button will get you from an overdriven blues tone to thrash. In addition, this amp is solidly-constructed and features a 12-inch Celestion speaker. Also, the price won't scare the most budget-conscious guitar slinger. This is a real hands-on review from Gene @ Sam Ash White Plains.

The DSL40C is an awesome versatile little amp. Small in size, but powerful in sound- 40 watts of tube power is more than enough for small gigs, jamming with friends or laying down some tracks in the studio. Classic Marshall tone in an easy to carry package. This is a real hands on product review by Sean@ Sam Ash Ontario.

I really like this amp. Marshall manage to give me the same tone that I would find in a giant stage amp in a quarter of the weight. This 40 watt amp comes with classic and ultra gain channel. The classic channel is great for getting that vintage tone that Marshall is known for. The ultra channel is great for the player who really wants a beefy distortion out of their amp. It also includes a footswitch to change between those channels which is a nice addition. Most amps will sell the footswitch separately. The 5 band pre amp makes it really easy to shape your sound. The added reverb knob is a nice addition and will also save you pedal space.

Marshall tube amps are the real deal when it comes to authentic tube guitar amp sound! The DSL is a two channel amp (Marshall clean, and crunch) with enough power for rocking the house or the club. This is a faithful reproduction of the British made DSL series, but MUCH lighter!
