The Gretsch G6128T-TVP Power Jet Electric Guitar is classic Gretsch Duo Jet that's been modified for some extra snarl!

Strike up your best rockin' pose and turn up your amp, cause it's time to play loud! Delivering "The Great Gretsch Sound" with some extra bite, the Gretsch G6128T-TVP Power Jet Electric Guitar takes the classic Duo Jet and hot-rods it with a pair of powerful, high-output TV Jones pickups. For classic Gretsch tone, playability and style, the G6128T-TVP Power Jet boasts a chambered single-cutaway mahogany "Jet" body, an arched laminated maple top, and a one-piece 24.6"-scale mahogany neck with a 12"-radius ebony fingerboard. Outfitted with a pair of high-output TV Jones Power'Tron pickups, the G6128T-TVP Power Jet dishes out that classic Filter'Tron tone but with a fuller, hotter sound and with more power & midrange presence. The electronics come equipped with the same standard Duo Jet controls which include a 3-way pickup selector toggle, a 3-way master tone switch, a master volume control, and independent volume controls for each pickup.

Of course, the G6128T-TVP Power Jet comes loaded with many of the traditional Duo Jet features that you've come to love including a sleek jet black top finish, a mahogany stain back finish, multiple body bindings, Neo-Classic "Thumbnail" inlays, a bound fingerboard and headstock, and more! Chrome-plated hardware rounds out the package, and includes an ebony-based Space Control roller bridge, a Bigsby B3C vibrato tailpiece with the Gretsch logo, and a set of Grover Sta-Tite die-cast tuners. Include deluxe hardshell case.

my new favorite

Comments about Gretsch G6128 TVP Power Jet Hollow Body Electric Guitar:

I use this in 60s band. It catches the Beatle vib without being such a one trick pony. It sounds good through an AC15 or 30 but the Powertron pickups can enter the Les Paul area when sent through a higher gain amp unlike the filtertrons in my G6122. I didn't like the way it played with stock strings but a tech suggested using 11-49 gauge. With the bigsby it makes for a more solid feel. I still like separate tone pots rather than the mud switch but the light weight makes my back appreciate not wearing the Les Paul all night

Comments about Gretsch G6128 TVP Power Jet Hollow Body Electric Guitar:

The workmanship is absolutely flawless. And thats no joke. I compared my new powerjet to a friends new gibson les paul trad. The Les Paul had some minor finish marks on the fretboard along with a few other little annoyances. I cant call them flaws, just little things that a 3k guitar shouldnt have. The Gretsch literally had none. I still just shake my head everytime I get it out of the case.
