Comments about Gretsch Electromatic Lap Steel:

I've recommended this steel guitar to a few of my students as well as owning one myself. Out of countless vintage lap steels that I own, I keep gravitating towards this one... It tunes up easy and stays in tune, and it has that great tone like an old vintage steel.

Definitely needs to be restrung with a real set of lap steel strings since Gretsch seems to string them with a super-light set of electric guitar strings. For strings I like the D'addario EXL145 set.
