I bought this bass for myself for Christmas. I am so happy. This bass plays like a dream and sounds so warm and mellow. When i crank up the amp i just love hearing the sound and just let it soak in for a few minutes before i start playing with my friends or working on a new song. It quickly became my favorite bass as i have other quality basses but this ES 335 bass just has something special that i can't really describe. It came from Sam Ash nicely set up although i did adjust the intonation a bit to perfectly dial it in. The finish is flawless. The neck is a nice fit in my hand. The switches and knobs are well placed and very responsive for adjusting your tone. Overall a complete winner by Gibson. i know Gibson is most known for their acoustic and electric six string guitars but they really got this bass right. Well done Gibson.
