Comments about Gretsch G9555 New Yorker Archtop Acoustic Guitar With Pickup:

Small church band, mostly guitars, with occasional keyboard. I changed to white bronze acoustic guitar strings, and tuned to open C. Result sounds like 1 finger bass chords played on an organ, and fills up the bottom end for the guitarists. The Gretsch New Yorker has made my other guitars, including Bass and Baritones obsolete. It is by far my favorite, and if something happened to it, I would by it again in a heartbeat!
