You are looking at a Gretsch G6119T-62GE 1962 Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose Hollow Body Electric Guitar with Bigsby, serial number JT15113376. This is the actual guitar you will receive should you decide to purchase. (7 lbs, 1.9 oz.)

A classic hollow body born in the Golden Era of Gretsch, the 1962 6119 is one of the most widely sought-after of the 6119 Tennessean models. Today, Gretsch brings back this legendary rocker from 1962 with the G6119T-62GE 1962 Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose.

Dressed in a Deep Cherry Stain finish, the sealed hollow body is made with laminated maple top, back, and sides, and features parallel tone bar bracing for that classic Gretsch tone and resonance. A pair of simulated F-holes and aged white binding cater to the authentic vintage look of the G6119T-62GE 1962 Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose. The standard "U" maple neck offers exceptional comfort while the 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard carries vintage-style frets and zero-fret for that timeless Gretsch playability. Aged fingerboard binding and aged pearloid thumbnail inlays further enhance the visual splendor of this vintage-inspired Tennessee Rose.

A pair of TV Jones Hilo'Tron pickups serve up a wide array of classic single-coil tones that range from nice, mellow lows to brilliant trebles. Offering incredible tonal flexibility, the familiar control layout consists of independent volume controls for each pickup, a master volume control, a 3-way pickup selector toggle, and a traditional 3-way tone switch. Gretsch "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil capacitors let you achieve that smooth high-end that you'd normally only expect from a vintage guitar.

The pinned "rocking" bar bridge/B6CVT vibrato tailpiece combo offers outstanding tuning stability while the vintage-style bone nut allows the strings to slide freely without binding in the slots. Other classic appointments include a set of Grover Sta-Tite thers, nickel "G Arrow" control knobs, and a silver vintage thick plexi pickguard that displays the Gretsch logo. Comes complete with a hardshell case.
