Fender’s Road Worn ’60s Jazz Bass guitar was designed with 1960s specs and delivers that killer aged look, feel and mojo without breaking the bank.

Like classic cars or your favorite T-shirt, some things just get cooler with age. It’s especially true of electric basses—they develop an unmistakable mojo over time that only makes ’em look even cooler and feel even more comfortable than when they were brand new. That said, Fender’s Road Worn ’60s Jazz Bass guitar was designed with 1960s specs and delivers that killer aged look, feel and mojo without breaking the bank.

A veritable racecar of a bass, the Jazz Bass guitar was born in the '60s and became the favorite of players who put as many miles on the instrument as they did on their tour buses. The more it was used (and abused), the more it growled back and became even more comfortable. Fender's Road Worn '60s Jazz Bass guitar delivers that aged look and feel. Designed with '60s specs, including a nitrocellulose-lacquer finish, and built to look, sound and feel like it's got more than just a few miles on it. Includes deluxe gig bag.

Comments about Fender Road Worn 60's Jazz Bass with Gig Bag:

My only issue with this bass was its price... disregarding the aging and nitro finish, it is the exact same thing as the mexi 60s RI which is about $400 less... the only reason i got this over said mexi bass was that I really wanted the old desert sand color scheme (tortise shell on fiesta red) and i liked the nitro finish... if you don't really care about color do yourself a favor and go for the less pricey 60s RI they sound exactly the same and use the same hardware, pickups, and tone woods.

Comments about Fender Road Worn 60's Jazz Bass with Gig Bag:

I played this for about 20 minutes a local franchise music store on a brand new Ampeg 115 Watt. This, despite the extreme price, ugly, sawed off paint, old looking EQ's, Tuners, Bridge, etc... (i realize this is intentional) this bass was really awful. I expect something much better, not even from Fender, but from a bass in general. I switched amps to see if it was the amp, but it was the bass. I soon after put it back and discovered that the 300 dollar(!) Epiphone there was 10 times better. I also discovered that an Ibanez Starter Mikro can sound better with the right player.

My opinion, DO NOT BUY THIS BASS. GET A FIREBIRD BASS, BUY A SANDER, MAKE YOUR OWN VINTAGE!
