Comments about Fender John 5 Triple Telecaster Electric Guitar (Black):

I purchased this tele on impulse one night while on vacation. I have a mess of teles and have always loved that classic tele twang. When I saw the modern looks of this thing I really fell in love with it. Its difficult to keep sparkling clean but thats expected from a tele that basically has a mirror covering the entire body. It looks hot folks and I get comments on it all of the time. My high e string was slotted a little too close to the edge of the fretboard making slippage easy when I wailed on it. I was hesitant to purchase a gimmicky tele considering the seriously vintage ones that I already own but there was something about this guitar that I just instantly loved. The triple uckers sound great and if you roll off the volume, you can still get a unique country twang (not the normal tele twang) but its own interesting and quite nice twang rather. It feels rather tank-like to hcarry for long periods of time as compared to my other teles but man this thing is fun to play. If you love teles and love to slip into overdrive, then this is it. Buy one. They are too much fun. Great overall guitar. Its not a vintage 50's tele but does everything that its supposed to and for the money, you cant beat it.

Comments about Fender John 5 Triple Telecaster Electric Guitar (Black):

Wow! Fender departed from their usual on this one. This thing is a shred-monster extraordinaire. After a few adjustments, like lowering the pickups (pick-click) and action, this axe roars! Better get one fast. The suits at Fender might change their minds. It is totally out of character for a Strat or Tele. Scary ! Excellent pickup response. Only drawback is the 3 way switch location. It is easy to whack when you are fired up. I broke mine and had to pull it out and fix it after the first gig. You won't be playing warm, sweet love songs with this powerhouse. It's very agressive and loud, just like it's appearance. Rock The House!!

Comments about Fender John 5 Triple Telecaster Electric Guitar (Black):

Fender has finally made a power-rock guitar. If you are looking for the familiar Fender highs and warmth, it is not here. I have installed buckers in a few Strats in order to get growl and mega-sustain. Now, you can buy it from the factory. Not a sweet melody axe, but the more I play it-the more I like it. This Tri-bucker was made to kick it into overdrive. Go for it! Play Loud!
