Comments about Fender DPT-100 Detachable Pedal Tuner and Docking Station:

This was very difficult to separate, but to put in a battery you must do it. I had to pry it apart with a screwdriver. The hole for the battery is the same size as the battery so when it's connected to the wires it doesn't fit. You must force it in. Unit is actually fairly heavy and very well-built. Very easy to read in a dark room. I plug directly into the input on the right from my amp. Tap it and it's on, tap again and it's off. You can order a 110 volt plug as an option. Bought this new off a rack in the bass area. Others comment on the manual but mine, which was sealed, did not have a manual. It DID have a loose screw inside which rattles when you shake the unit. It's in a soldiered area so it cannot be removed.
