The Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH blends modern style and tone with traditional design at an affordable price.

Do you love the look and overall feel of a traditional Stratocaster but wish it were better equipped for chunkier and edgier sounds? The Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH is just what you need — a dual-humbucker Strat loaded with hot vintage-style Fender Blacktop alnico humbucking pickups that deliver high-gain power for thicker and heavier sounds without a heavy-duty price.

We recommend the Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH for players of all levels. While the price is lower than many other models, there is no skimping on quality or features. The Blacktop Stratocaster HH includes an alder body, maple neck, 9.5”-radius rosewood or maple fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets for easy string bending, a vintage-style tremolo bridge and skirted black amp knobs for cooler, yet still classic look. Case not included.

Comments about Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH Electric Guitar:

I have owned an American Stratocaster and currently have two MIM Deluxe Strats as well as a Gibson Les Paul and an SG Standard.

I thought this guitar might make a nice and unique addition to my collection but considering the low price point I didn't have terribly high expectations.
All I can say is "WOW"...the tone and playability of this guitar far exceeded my expectations.
I would say that the overall tone is somewhere between a typical Strat tone and that of a Gibson SG.

I might also add that the guitar looks MUCH nicer in person than you would expect based on the photographs seen online.

So if you are looking for a real bargain in terms of quality, tone and finish this is one guitar you should seriously consider.

Comments about Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH Electric Guitar:

I have had many guitars, and lost all of them in KATRINA. This is my first electric since then. I have an Ibanez bass, and a GRETSCH Syncromatic acoustic. This strat, is really great for the price. The Mexicans(LEO and GEORGE FENDER) always have made some of the best guitars in the world,in case you do not know your history. This guitar is high quality, for the price.I am not Mexican, but a Creole blues player from New Orleans, that has played music all my life.Stop tagging on race all the time.Look at the real quality,of this guitar for the price.VERY GOOD QUALITY.

Comments about Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH Electric Guitar:

I use it to play at my church both saturdays and sundays, lets me make all the tones I need even those of a higher end guitar. It's like a les paul but so much lighter. As for the price, completely reasonable for a guitar that I plan to have for the next 20 years

    Not Bad

    By

    from New York

    Pros

    • Great Look
    • Humbuckers
    • Lightweight
    • Makes single coil sound
    • Thin easy play neck

    Cons

    • Average Strat sound
    • Not too good for Punk
    • Slightly weak tone

    Best Uses

    • Maybe Concert Playable

Comments about Fender Blacktop Stratocaster HH Electric Guitar:

Its a good guitar, worth the money...i suppose. It doesn't have the richest sound and it sure doesn't crank enough for Punk, however a Seymour Duncan can fix that.
