Comments about Ibanez RGA8 8-String Electric Guitar:

I just started paying the 8 string guitar and I really enjoy it. You have much more in the way of range than you do with the standard 6 string. I use this guitar for anything from mellow gospel to full on metal. it can handle it. Neck is super wide but very thin and comfortable. easier to play than the Hellraiser 8 strings. The pickups are nice but they are a bit hot, so you made need to make adjustments to your amp. The guitar is light and comfortable to play. the active EQ is a great addition and does really work. The factory string gauges are way to thin. I put a set of GHS 10-60 seven string set on mine and then added a .70 for the F# string.
