Comments about Shure SRH840 Professional Headphones:

I chose these because I wanted to replace my AKG K240s (I had those forever, and they finally gave up the ghost). But when I heard that they were no longer made in Austria, I asked the sales guy for something that can rival my old cans. I was looking for headphones with a clear, neutral sound. I tried another brand, but I could tell the lows were tweaked. Then they gave me a pair of SRH840s. These give me EVERYTHING I need when I'm on stage and in the lab. I'm not blowing smoke when I say these are the best closed back headphones I've ever owned. Such clear, balanced, and RICH sound. Great work by Shure!!!!
