When people talk about wah-wah pedals, they’re talking about the Cry Baby Wahs. This is the one that created some of the most timeless sounds in rock. The pedal that would eventually become the Cry Baby was first created in 1966 by engineers at the Thomas Organ Company. This new and expressive effect was an instant hit with players like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, who have contributed to the Cry Baby Wah’s huge popularity to this day. While other effects have come and gone, the Cry Baby Wah just keeps getting better with age.

  • Original Wah Wah.
  • True to 1966 Thomas Organ Design.
  • Put your foot down and be heard!

Comments about Dunlop GCB95 Crybaby Wah Pedal:

I want to start by saying that I bought the cheapest CryBaby Wah because I planned to modify it and did not want someone else's mods prebuilt into the wah. When I opened the CryBaby to do some mods, I noticed that the back cover plate said "rev H" and when I looked at the circuit board inside it said "rev I." I thought, that's wierd but whatever. When I gave the circuit board a much closer look, I noticed that the inductor was "red." Upon closer examination I noticed "FASEL" imprinted on the inductor. Wow was I surprised! Considering the basic Crybaby is not supposed to have a FASEL inductor, I was amazed, excited and elated! Thank you Dunlop and Sam Ash Music!

I have done a few mods so far; changed the position of the rocker arm, removed the buffer electronics and added true by-pass, changed an .01 uF capacitor to .022, and added an LED. You should hear the wah now, smooth. I have three more mods to do and the wah will be primo, smooth and sweet.

Comments about Dunlop GCB95 Crybaby Wah Pedal:

This is the best wah pedal i have ever seen or used. The wah is very strong and it is very small. The only problem is that it does not have any settings for the wah. But it is still rockin' awesome!

Comments about Dunlop GCB95 Crybaby Wah Pedal:

This is a great Wah pedal. I use to it just to jam and mess around, and use it in some of my favorite songs. It sounds really nice with distortion, too. But it is somewhat difficult to play certain things and control the pedal at the same time. Other than that, it's great!

Comments about Dunlop GCB95 Crybaby Wah Pedal:

This pedal may very well be the greatest thing (other than practice) to ever happen to my guitar playing! I have decided to nickname the product "$[...] to Pro", because of how any intermediate player can sound like a professional. If you have intermediate to advanced talent like me, you can easily sound like Hendrix, Clapton, or John Frusciante. It is worth $[...], to sound like a master, so go out and buy one of these!!!
