Comments about Wuhan Cymbals 12" Wuhan China Cymbal:

I would almost swear by any Wuhan china, not because of the price, but because of the sound. These cymbals are trashy, they have a fast decay and are sure to cut through any genre. I have been using Wuhan china/efx cymbals for almost 10 years, and I find myself always going back to them. These cymbals are cheap enough that when they break, you aren't crying for your wallet. Even after they have began to crack they still provide a good enough sound to play live. It's a never-dying cymbal, obviously until the entire side of your cymbal comes flying off mid-set, but that's just my own personal experience. I really heavily suggest these cymbals to just about ever genre where a trashy china would be most acceptable.

This is a real hands on product review from Chris @ Sam Ash Huntington.

Comments about Wuhan Cymbals 12" Wuhan China Cymbal:

the one reason why people give these chinas bad reviews is because they forget how much they paid, or they don't know how to choose their chinas.
these are all hand made and VERY inconsistent. u need to pick the best of 5 to get one worth its price.

i don't think it makes much sense spending hundreds on a quick dark trashy accent from bigger expensive cymbal companies when that one wuhan in the stack could be what your looking for. who really wants to pay 250-300 for "trash" anyway right?

and about the clangy sounds and overtones, in the mix (and if you pick a good one) you aren't going to have that problem.
these cymbals aren't bad in any way. ive actually decided to go for these instead of the meinl byzance. wuhans do just fine for me

I bought two Wuhan chinas. One of them was ok, with a higher sound, not so thashy...the other one is perfect! Trashy sound, loud with an explosive attack. If you are looking for a "trashier" sound try the bigger China, from Wuhan of course!

Comments about Wuhan Cymbals 12" Wuhan China Cymbal:

I use this cymbal to practice with in my garage where I'm not really playing to be heard by others. It is very inexpensive which is a plus for people who are just getting started or can't afford top-of-the-line products, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is serious about going far with drumming. Also, the sound is very flat and lasts for about a second and has a sort of annoying CLUNKing sound to it. I got it because it was affordable, but if you want something that has a good feel to it, go with an 18" paiste china.

"The 12"" Wuhan china cymbal is not a very good cymbal. Very cheap and poorly made. The 12"" is too little. I suggest getting a larger china cymbal like a 16"" Not worth 10 bucks. Don't buy it."
