The Carlo Robelli F550BCEQ acoustic-electric blends affordability with a beautiful acoustic sound, exceptional comfort, and excellent quality.

The Carlo Robelli F550BCEQ acoustic-electric blends affordability with a beautiful acoustic sound, exceptional comfort, and excellent quality. Crafted with a spruce top and beautifully-grained mahogany back and sides, the F550BCEQ delivers a warm, well-balanced tone with amazing top-end clarity. The F550BCEQ packs a lot of punch and volume despite its thinner body dimensions, and the cutaway design provides smooth access to the upper registers for lead playing. If you're an electric guitar player, you'll feel right at home with the thinline cutaway body. Catering to its elegant looks, the top, back and sides all wear a natural gloss finish and binding while the top showcases a striking black plastic rosette. The okume neck sports a 25.5" (648mm) scale length, and is carved into a "C" profile to offer an ultra-comfortable playing experience. The rosewood fretboard features a superbly playable 350mm radius along with 21 frets and an ivory plastic nut. To maintain comfortable action and playability, the neck comes equipped with a double action truss rod that allows for easy adjustments.

When you're ready to plug in, the F500BCEQ is sure to deliver thanks to the onboard electronics. To tailor your sound to taste, the preamp features a 3-Band EQ with Bass, Mid and Treble controls along with a Volume control. A convenient Battery Check light on the preamp lets you know when you need to replace the battery. Tying together this outstanding value, the Carlo Robelli F500BCEQ comes fitted with a set of chrome sealed tuners and a rosewood bridge. Case not included.

I traded in my Martin Backpacker guitar for this guitar!

I don't think Carlo Robelli realized the musical "MONSTER" they created with this particular guitar; as I stated above, I traded in my Martin Backpacker for their Thinline Cutaway Acoustic/Electric at Sam Ash 34th St., store in Manhattan (even the salesman said he has a "hard time keeping this guitar in stock), just for the sound as well as the feel -- DEFINITELY WORTH IT & WOULD DO OVER AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT -- WORTH THE $$$!!!

Buy it!

A few reviews here are saying that this is a good starter or first acoustic guitar. A simple set up and some good strings and this thing plays, sounds and feels as good or better then a lot of $500 guitars! Big sound out of this thing!

Walked in to buy another electro-acoustic guitar I had in mind when I heard someone trying out this guitar. I tried it out myself just for curiosity and fell in love inmediatly. It a beauty and the sound is extraordinary despite being a thinline. The plug in sound did not disapoint me. Have been using it in church since.

Great Guitar !!!

Great price. Was looking at thin line guitars that ranged from $300 and up and stumbled on this deal at Sam Ash. It has a great sound and I am very satisfied with how the guitar conforms to the body, sitting or standing. I am mostly a lyricist and only strum a few chords when writing, but perhaps this little gem will inspire me to take my playing to the next level.

Great starter acoustic

If you are looking at starting at guitar, the Carlo Robelli F550BCEQ is an amazing entry level acoustic. Thin body makes it more comfortable for someone starting out while still giving you a full sound. Biggest plus is that you have electronics on the guitar which is normally unheard of for a guitar in this price range.

      Great starter guitar for students!

      By

The F550 is a great acoustic-electric guitar for beginners. It's slim shape and contour is an easy fit for all sizes and it's built sturdy. The preamp sounds good for a budget guitar and the neck is smooth and effortless to play on. It's got a sleek design and a bunch of great features at a bargain price, I can't recommend it enough for any beginner guitarist.

The Carlo Robelli F550BCEQ is a great guitar for the beginning student or anyone looking for a backup/songwriting instrument. The onboard eq allows for moderate tone shaping when plugged in. Overall this guitar has a well balanced tone not usually found in instruments in this price range. It's a very comfortable guitar to play with the thin "C" neck and thin body with a narrow waist.

Anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable acoustic electric guitar should check this one out. The thinline body style makes it easy to play for anyone especially younger players or someone with shorter arms. The neck is easy to play and the body includes a cutaway for easier access to higher notes. The built in electronics make it easy to amplify the guitar when you need more volume.
