Comments about Ernie Ball 2626 Not Even Slinky Electric Guitar Strings (12-56):

I got a set of these on a whim after a friend kept going on about how great heavy strings are, and I'm never going back to a lighter gauge. I have them on my MIM Tele in standard tuning, and while it felt like I was playing piano strings for the first couple of days, I noticed a huge change in my tone immediately. These strings are articulate and clear without being overly bright, and playing with even a little bit of dirt on makes your guitar sound HUGE.
I would and have recommended these strings to friends.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2626 Not Even Slinky Electric Guitar Strings (12-56):

These strings are great. They actually improved my tone. I use these on my Ibanez RG320 with an EMG in the bridge through a Randall RH120R stack and it sounds BRUTAL! The tone is unbelievably better. Granted, it is a little tiring on your hand because it takes a bit more strength to push down and there is a bit of oscillation on the G string, but that pales in comparison to all the benefits of getting these. these are great for playing down tuned songs. I can play in A Standard (Cannibal Corpse and Nile, etc.) without a problem.

Theses are a must have for any true Death Metal player
