Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Electric Guitar:

Bottom line this is a great entry level guitar. After you gain some experience and start to become a better guitarist you might want to upgrade to a better quality guitar. The sound and sustain is average for this guitar. The pick-ups are the only downfall. But its what you expect for the price. One problem I have with this guitar is purely cosmetic. The LP-100 is famous for being a beginner's guitar, so if your an experienced guitarist playing around other guitarists with this guitar they might assume your a novice playing on a KNOWN entry level guitar. Overall, good playable guitar for beginners. I would not however recommend this to a experienced player.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Electric Guitar:

When I first became interested in changing from bass guitar to electric I did alot of research prior to my purchase an I became dead set on an ESP. When I entered the store this guitar called to me an I fell in love with it from the moment I picked it up. It has amazing sound, great feel an very verstile. Its well put to gether an the pickups sound great. Its was worth going in this direction than any other.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Electric Guitar:

For [$] this guitar is outstanding. I needed something cheaper to travel with for when I do small gigs. I was a bit nervous at first because I didn't know how quality tone or the sound would be for [$], but wow! I now know no matter what the price, if you buy anything that says Epiphone, Gibson, or Les Paul; you are getting a quality instrument. I haste played a ton of axes, and I definitely recommend this is guitar for anyone: novice to professional.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar for Christmas in 2011, and so far, it has no disappointment! The contour of the body is very comfortable and easy to get around, it feels solid and the acoustics are lovely! Sounds great on or off of distortion, warm or cool tone, going through a big or small amp, and is a really easy guitar to wheel on. Everything about is balanced perfectly. Not too heavy, not too light, not too flamboyant yet still an attention magnet, awesome sound without being too touchy, and a perfectly tailored neck. All in all, this is an awesome guitar. Thank you, Les Paul, for gifting us with this awesome, awesome instrument. Bottom line, the Epiphone Les Paul 100 is the best guitar on the market for the price.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Electric Guitar:

This is my first electric guitar. I originally wanted a Strat, than a Flying V, than an SG, but then I was introduced to Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and Guns n' Roses, and I knew immediatlly I wanted a Les Paul. I play niormally alternative rock (Lifehouse, Nickelback, Daughtry, Coldplay, Muse, etc.), and my dream is to join a rock band. If and when I do join a band, this guitar will be right there with me. It has a very good feel, great sound through my Marshal map, and all my friends can't stop asking to play it. The only problem is I was used to playing Stratocaster knock-offs, so I was used to thinner necks. Once you get around then 8th or 9th fret, it gets kind of thick and tough to move your hands around. Otherwise, this is the best axe you could get for the money.
On a side note, the stock strings are junk, but if you throw on a set of Ernie Ball regular slinkies, it sounds incredible.
