Comments about Roland Electronic Layered Cajon:

Forget about those pesky microphones always getting in the way of you really beating the snot out your cajon, going electric was the BEST way to make this instrument better! Now you can really get loud and dial the clearest and best of tones for these boxes. Great job Roland!

Comments about Roland Electronic Layered Cajon:

What a fantastic innovation. The Cajon on its own is a very versatile and useful piece of gear to have around. Now this one adds the element of being able to plug it in and play. while it still sounds great as an acoustic Cajon the ability to plug it in and run sounds through a board or amp adds so much to these already great units.

Comments about Roland Electronic Layered Cajon:

The Roland electronic cajon is one of the coolest percussion pieces I have seen lately! Simply plug this cajon into a speaker and go! The sounds are all built-in and it has a wide selection of acoustic instruments as well as great sounding electronic samples. Cajons are already great matches for small acoustic gigs, but now you can be ready for any genre, environment, and sound you could think of! Get the Roland El-Cajon and expand your musical capabilities!

Comments about Roland Electronic Layered Cajon:

This El Cajon made by Roland is such an innovative piece of equipment. This Cajon has natural cajon sounds, percussion sounds(shaker, tambourine), and sounds often found on electronic kits. There are trigger zones on the front plate, it does take some practice to make sure you hit those spots in the same spot. I love the electric sounds on this cajon, it really meets the demands of modern pop/dance music. This cajon is a great price for all the sounds and functions it includes. Some Acoustic Cajon's can be the same price! I would recommend this to any percussionist looking to further "sound" toolbox. Electronic flexibility for low volume acoustic applications

          By

Comments about Roland Electronic Layered Cajon:

Roland has done a really cool thing with this electronic layered cajon. The cajon has sky rocketed in popularity in the last few years. It's perfect because it's small, easy to transport, and has a wide range of tones at it's disposal. So for many percussion setups and acoustic acts the cajon has become a welcome staple over loud, space consuming acoustic drum setups. This Roland E-Cajon is perfect for players that love that cajon format and footprint but also want a wider array of tones. You can get percussion elements, acoustic drum sounds, and more from this. So next time you get a call to play cajon get one of these Roland E-Cajons and blow away the audience and other musicians with this fun little box.

Such a unique and versatile instrument

Comments about Roland Electronic Layered Cajon:

I already own a cajon and love using it for a variety of different styles of music. I had been eyeing the electronic cajon for some time and I'm so glad I purchased it. It's a lot of fun to experiment with the extreme and subtle electronic layers and I really enjoy the versatility. I have yet to try utilizing the line out function with an amp, but I enjoy using the line in with MP3s to practice informally with recordings of set lists. The speaker does not provide the cleanest sound when ampliying more than just the electronic sounds, especially because this causes the snares to rattle, but I enjoy it for practicing.
