Power and Punch under 10lbs

By

Comments about Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 Bass Amplifier Head:

Ok first impression when I picked the head up was how in the world am I suppose to gig with this thing when my laptop is heavier? Then I plugged it in and was blown away! For as small and lightweight as this head is it really packs a punch. The eq is responsive and the sound quality is bar none. Its smooth and clear but can knock your head off if you need it to. All in all I would call this one of the best bass heads you can grab for the studio or any live gig.

What an amazing sounding amp! Unreal low-end thump and grind, with a beautiful top end that never comes close to being thin or shrill. Massive tone in a compact package.

This little thing is so loud, I can'g believe it. It's under 5 pounds and can run a speaker cabinet 100 times as big as it. Sounds great.

Comments about Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 Bass Amplifier Head:

Probably the most played bass amp in the store. It has plenty of power and perfect for any low clear bass tones. Matched with a 1-15 or 2-10 speaker cabinet this is all you would ever need for recording or gigs. This is a real hands on review form Eric @ Sam Ash Cincinnati.

Respected by pros for a while this Aguilar Tone Hammer is one of the best sounding bass amps I've heard. Lots of power with a rich tone. Tried with Fender Jazz and Ibanez bass, both sounded great.

Comments about Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 Bass Amplifier Head:

Coming from an Ampeg SVT-CL head, I was a bit skeptical when I first tried this little guy out at the Sam Ash in Hollywood. As soon as I played the first note on it I was hooked. FAT, yet tight/focused sound that is pretty much perfect for any style of music. Tons of power in a tiny (<4 lbs.) package. Aguilar is currently making some of the best bass gear out there, and they knocked it out the park with this gem.

Comments about Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 Bass Amplifier Head:

Aguilar has always been known in the bass community for high quality craftsmanship and high quality tones. This amp is very light in construction, so it's easier to pack up and bring to the show but, there is no sacrifice in the quality of the chasse itself. With the built in 3 band EQ, separate Drive Control and Effects loop, this amp gives you tons of different ways to shape your sound!
