The GK Studio is the ultimate gigging instrument. Built with a solid European spruce top and cypress back and sides, this nylon string guitar comes equipped with a soft cutaway and Fishman Presys Blend pickup. The GK Studio is a flamenco guitar made for the stage, constructed with a slightly thinner body depth, neck, and nut width than a traditional Spanish guitar. The neck is designed to have little or no relief, offering low action for ease of comfort and quick playability.

For flamenco players, this model is the quintessential flamenco guitar with its bright, snappy tone designed to cut through the sound of an accompanying dancer. However, any guitarist looking for a new tone to add to the repertoire will feel right at home with the GK Studio. With its comfortable body shape and spruce/cypress wood combination, this model is the perfect choice for exploring the nuances in sound that can only be captured with nylon strings. Like every Cordoba guitar, this model also has a two-way truss rod built into the neck. Other features include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, high gloss finish, clear golpeadores (tap plates), and premium Savarez Cristal Corum strings. The GK Studio includes Cordoba's deluxe gig bag.

Comments about Cordoba Gk Studio Gipsy Kings Nylon-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar in a Sam Ash store after examining and playing many classical guitars. I have small hands and was looking for a guitar that was not so huge. Many classical are very large with action that is too high. This guitar is perfect - low action for a classical, smaller body with big sound, and very light! It is enjoyable to play! I don't plan on using it as a strictly flamenco - I think it's great for all types of music. I also deal with Sam Ash a lot. They always give me good deals, and on this one, I was able to save money by trading in an older guitar.

Comments about Cordoba Gk Studio Gipsy Kings Nylon-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The folks at Sam Ash in Buffalo Grove IL were most helpful. Thank you Rick and Doug for all the time you took helping me decide. I love my Cordoba GK Studio. I was looking for an inexpensive guitar to use outside and on the beach, but this may have become my favorite guitar for all uses. It has a lovely tone and is easy to play. The workmanship is quite nice and I will upgrade to a better case. I've only had this guitar for a week but I'm already in love with the playability and the sound. Haven't tried it on an amplifier yet. Try this one, I think you'll like it.

Comments about Cordoba Gk Studio Gipsy Kings Nylon-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The GK wasn't actually my first choice nor was it one that I had originally considered. I tried various models at the store and then I saw this beauty. The GK just felt right. It's incredibly comfortable and light. It weighs just as much as my husband's cavaquinho!(a uke sized Brazilian guitar) The GK studio's sound is gorgeous as well as the build. The sound is just as good as some of the high priced models that I tried out.

Comments about Cordoba Gk Studio Gipsy Kings Nylon-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

My previous experience has been with Takimine and Horabe classical guitars. Cordoba makes a very fine guitar, excellent varnish, tone with nice tuning pegs. I bought two Cordobas yesterday this GK studio and a C7 (which is an awesome guitar in its own rite). The tone of the GK is incredible unplugged and plugged. Low action = speed for flamenco, thickness of fingerboard is slimmer than what I'm used to which makes it easier for chording (holding difficult chords) and I feel faster - I play faster according to my wife. NO buzzing - pure and clear tone. NO glue lines. Very well made and lightweight. When amp'd, it sounds great however the internal pickups also pickup the sounds when brushing against it - tweak your amp to filter that out and WOW! I can't put her down!

Comments about Cordoba Gk Studio Gipsy Kings Nylon-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have a 1970 Martin D20 which I absolutely love to play but was looking for a more cost effective substitute. This guitar absolutely fits the bill. It plays just as well but is more fun because I'm a lot less worried about bumps and bruises. The thinner neck makes it closer to the crossover category.
