The Taylor 15/16-scale Big Baby Dreadnought boasts a surprisingly full voice. It is sure to become your trusty companion - wherever you go!

Bigger than a travel-size Baby Taylor but just shy of a full-size guitar, the Big Baby Taylor is ideal for easy-playing, great-sounding guitar fun. Slightly bigger than a Baby Taylor but just shy of a full-size guitar, the 15/16-scale Big Baby Taylor is ideal for easy-playing, great-sounding guitar fun. The overall size keeps you in the “portable” category, yet with an extra dose of volume and fullness. Like the Baby, the Big Baby has an arched back that provides strength and contributes to its big tonal output.

Sporting a solid spruce top, sturdy layered sapele back and sides, and genuine Taylor craftsmanship, the Big Baby makes a great songwriting guitar to keep around the house. The Baby Taylor's super-sized sibling gives you a full-size Dreadnought sound. Featuring a sapele laminate back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, it makes a handy songwriting partner for anyone. The ebony fretboard of the Big Baby Taylor is adorned with pearloid dot inlays and the natural wood tone is protected by a beautiful varnish finish. The single-ring soundhole rosette gives the Big Baby Taylor a classic touch. Diecast, chrome-plated tuning machines add impressive looking detail and allow for precision tuning.

The Taylor Big Baby is an affordable solution for a quality acoustic guitar. It looks great on the stage as well as in the studio, but will really look most spectacular in your hands! Taylor gig bag included.

Comments about Big Baby Taylor Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar:

looks great, I love the size, but this one was made horribly. I'd expect at least a smooth pick guard from Taylor instead of what feels like an inverted right handed pick guard. I could not get the action down without a buzz on the first fret. I tried heavier and lighter strings, since the Elixir g string broke right out of the box.

Comments about Big Baby Taylor Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar:

I ended up exchanging up -- but when I go back and buy a travel or campfire guitar, this will be the one. Bright, fast attack sound of Taylor. Very easy playability for novice with tender newly calloused fingers. Feels like a full-sized, but definitely more portable. Top and sides and neck are beautiful. Headstock looks cheap, and I'm not certain what the fretboard is. Tuners kept solidly in tune. I think at this price point, it's excellent -- and the cheaper guitars don't seem to hold tune as well or feel as solid (and many are made in PRC China). Does not seem to play quietly when softly strummed -- seems either full voiced or not there. This is guitar I can feel good about owning and plan on owning again.
