The Ibanez AC240E Grand Concert Acoustic Electric Guitar features all-mahogany construction and classic traditional style with warm mellow tone. Order yours from Sam Ash Direct today for the guaranteed lowest price.

The Ibanez AC240E Acoustic Electric Guitar is a perfect guitar for students and performing artists alike. The lush tones originate from a solid Mahogany top paired with mahogany back and sides and a Dovetail Neck Joint at the 14th fret to maximize resonance and produce a warm tone. The mellow, warm tone that emanates from the all-mahogany construction makes the Ibanez AC240 Acoustic Electric Guitar perfect for blues and finger-picking. Ibanez’s Open Pore Natural finish gives this guitar a worn-in antique feel, maximizing player comfort. The Natural finish is also complimented by an abalone rosette.

The Grand Concert body is paired with a wider, 44.5mm neck and shorter 24.9" scale length. The slightly shorter scale facilitates easier playability. The thin profile mahogany neck will feel comfortable in your hand and you will love the easy playability. The neck also features 20 frets with pearloid dot inlays on a rosewood fingerboard, and a distinctively contoured rosewood bridge which will stabilize intonation. A set of chrome Grover tuners give you better tuning stability.

The Ibanez AC240E Acoustic Electric Guitar can be amplified through the onboard Fishman Sonicore Pickup system and Ibanez SST Shape Shifter Preamp with Onboard Tuner. The pickup's is fitted under the saddle and helps preserve both the aesthetic and structural integrity of the guitar. The Ibanez AC240E is an extremely versatile guitar that is perfect for the stage or home use. Case not included.

Comments about Ibanez AC240E Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

So, I bought this guitar after much research and I could not be happier. Definitely worth the money. I dig the warm sound and more comfortable to play smaller size (but not too small so it looks weird since I'm a big guy). Love the mahogany look. Can't wait for the sound to improve after it ages a bit. Sounds good plugged in or unplugged but I prefer plugging it in so I can shape the sound to my liking and get more volume while playing soft. I would definitely buy it again.

Sounds better than a Martin HPL acoustic

    By

    from Washington, DC

Comments about Ibanez AC240E Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've owned 3 Martin HPL models before - the Alternative X, 00CXAE and the 000CXE. This Ibanez is the same size, sounds better, and costs almost half as much as those. The sound is deeper and the construction is better because I've had the Martin laminate separate from the change in temperature. The neck is the easiest neck I've ever played because it's short and wide. The action is very low and great for strumming. I've owned a ton of acoustics and I'll never sell this one.
