Experience the versatility and classic feel of the new ES-339 Studio Electric Guitar.

Gibson has introduced a new variation on an iconic guitar with the new ES-339 Studio. While retaining many features of its predecessor, the ES-335, Gibson has scaled down the size of the body to dimensions more reminiscent of their solidbody guitars. Those who felt that the ES-335 was not for them because of its large body will definitely re-evaluate once they give the ES-339 Studio a go. You get all the comfort of the small body while retaining all the beautiful tonal qualities of a semi-hollow guitar!

This ES-339 features a semi-hollow maple body with an arched top and classic “F” holes. A solid maple centerblock forms the “core” of the body, which eliminates any potential feedback normally associated with hollow-body guitars when played at high volume. The ES-339 Studio employs a soft edge body contour, giving it an understated elegance.

This modern day classic employs a pair of '57 humbuckers; a Classic ’57 in the neck and a Super ’57 in the bridge, along with a 3-way Pickup Selector. The 57 Classics accurately recreate the tone and performance of original PAF humbuckers that made the Les Paul Standard and the ES-335 an easy choice for blues and rock & roll players of the late 50’s.

The 24.75” scale hand-set neck is carved from Mahogany, and features a rosewood fingerboard with a 12” radius. The ES-339’s chrome nickel hardware is rounded out by a Tone Pros AVR2 bridge/stud tailpiece combo for tuning and intonation stability. A set of Grover Rotomatic Tuners rounds out the hardware . A deluxe Gibson Gig Bag is included.

Comments about Gibson ES-339 Studio Electric Guitar:

What is great is the SAM ASH people who helped me get this guitar into shape..they adjusted the neck, bridge, oiled the neck, checked the string to neck "play" and we super nice about it.

They offered to exchange this guitar for another but I quickly become enamored with the sound....This not just another GIBSON 339 has a sound all its described as full, rich, balanced bass, kids & highs.....excellent string definition, nice neck ( after the oil treatment )

I like the single volume & tone....makes it easier to dial up right tone.
