Elixir® Strings with ultra thin NANOWEB™ coating have the bright tone and punch of non-coated strings and feel like traditional strings. Elixir® Strings are coated in a unique way to protect wound strings from your DNA and other contaminants. A flexible, strong, yet micro-thin polymer tube defends the Critical Zone of Tone from invading enemies. Nothing (including the coating) gets between the windings. The result? Strings that sound and feel their best three to five times longer than ordinary strings.

Gauges: .011; .015; .022w; .032w; .042w; .052w

Comments about Elixir 11027 Custom Light Nanoweb Acoustic Guitar Strings (11-52):

I like Elixer strings, except for the price. And today when I was shopping, I noticed that the coating protects from contaminants such as... my DNA??? What? Oh, please! How 'bout the oil from my skin.

Comments about Elixir 11027 Custom Light Nanoweb Acoustic Guitar Strings (11-52):

These strings are some of the best out there. The tone is comparable or better the any string on the market and the feel is what makes them stand out. I have tried some of the other top string brands and always come back to Elixir. The strings just feel smooth and I always feel like I can play on them all day without my fingers feeling worn out. Just a fantastic string all around. Try them out and see for yourself.

First used Elixir nanoweb strings when I bought my Larrivee acoustic. Have not remotely considered another brand since. They sound bright for weeks even months. Can you say String Utopia?
