Protect your axe from scratches on the fly!

For a temporary solution, try the custom-fit electrostatic pickguard from Taylor. These crystal clear, removable guards will protect your glossy  finish from light dings and scratches

Advisory for older guitars (pre-1995) with nitrocellulose lacquer or conversion varnish: These finishes may be damaged as a result of using this pickguard. Always remove pickguard from guitar when not in use. All glossy finished Taylor Guitars built in 1995 or later use a UV cured finish that is less susceptible to damage, though it is recommended to remove pickguard when not in use.

Protect your gear and get the best prices from Sam Ash Direct; with the security of our many decades of experience and efficient order processing, your satisfaction is guaranteed!

Comments about Taylor Universal Reusable Static Pickguard:

Works as advertised. Protects the guitar soundboard, does not harm the finish, stays in place and is easily removeable. Allows the guitar top to show through.

Great product for those who like to keep em' prestine

Comments about Taylor Universal Reusable Static Pickguard:

I play my favorite like it's mine but sometimes others do not. This is an easy way to have some insurance on any valued acoustic that does not have a pick guard. Mind you it only works on a gloss top. Like I said in the cons - keep it clean or it can press unwanted grains or anything harder than your finish into the clear if given enough time and pressure. I personally do not leave it on very long - only when needed.

A little common sense goes a long way and if used properly this can be a great and cheap product.
