The Gibson Flying V 120 launches your music into the stratosphere, while making the perfect ticket to the party for collector and player alike.

Way ahead if its time in the late '50s, the original rebel-rousing rocker -- the Flying V -- is still a major style statement today. Offering a perfect addition to the Gibson USA 120th Anniversary celebration, the Limited Run Flying V 120 combines timeless design & tonewoods, versatile pickups and unsurpassed Gibson USA craftsmanship at an incredible value.

The body of the Gibson Flying V 120 is crafted from select mahogany and features that legendary futuristic angular styling and a sleek ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish. For amazing sustain and superb playability, the Gibson Flying V 120 sports a glued-in select mahogany neck that's carved into a fast, thin V profile, and carries a one-piece grade-A rosewood fingerboard that houses 22 frets over binding, dot inlays and a commemorative 120th Anniversary banner. The "arrowhead" Flying V headstock provides a classic aesthetic touch.

The Gibson Flying V 120 comes loaded with a pair of Alnico V BurstBucker Pro pickups to deliver vintage tones with modern performance. Built to the specs of original PAF humbuckers, these pickups feature mismatched coils for that classic PAF depth and bite. To tailor your sound to your personal preference, the pickups are routed through 2 Volume controls, a single Tone control and a 3-way Switchcraft toggle pickup selector.

For smooth, efficient performance, the Gibson Flying V 120 comes equipped with chrome-plated hardware including a set of Grover Kidney button tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a stopbar tailpiece. Comes with the full protection of a hardshell case.

I have always wanted to own a Flying V, but cost has always been an issue for me. Sam Ash sourced a V120 for me, and I've been playing every since! It's really cool to have a classic oddity
