Comments about Fender Telecoustic Acoustic Electric Guitar:

I am using it to teach my Girlfriend to play. She did not want an electric, but her hands are tiny. At least to small for my Martin's or Taylors. This has an electric Tele bolt on neck (very flat thin neck, and she could finger her chords properly without buzzing. Thats it she liked it. Her hands where to small for my Les Pauls club neck, she likes my 81 Gold strat. But, that does not get touched by to many peeps. All in all an nice playing guitar, but you gotta plug it in, or it is very thin. I played it at Sams' through a [$] dollar fishman amp. Killer amp but we came home and plugged in a roland acoustic amp, and it sounds beautifull. I stress "PLUGGED IN". Otherwise look else where. For [$] I would not hesitate to take it on stage in an unplugged set (but plugged) you know acoustic. Lastly I can not stress enough that the neck is a bolt on Tele neck. Which means it is replaceable, I have lost a few guitars to the Mastiffs tearin through my house.Anyway she is happy that is all that matters to me. [...] If you are lookin for a Tele style acoustic to practice and gig, Grab it. Whatever type of piezo they are using I like, as it does not quack like my Ovations. It has a bit of a boosted bass, the rest of the E.Q is flat and versitile, built in tuner. I actually had a good time playing it "different than anything I have played." With a nice amp a good setup and the little Digitech pedal board I gave her I think she'll keep it up. I hope. -Peace people-, sorry for the long review. Kaos
