Comments about Paracho Elite Havana Tres:

For the money, Paracho Elite's Havana Tres guitar is outstanding. Great quality product. Although the problem may lie in the new strings, I've had to retune a few times. I'm pretty sure it's not the guitar, but a process of stretching out the strings a bit. I'm learning how to play it on my own, and so far it's been a great experience.

Comments about Paracho Elite Havana Tres:

As another reviewer stated, most Tres go for 10 times the price of this one. It does sound beautiful, and is authentic. I know that Paracho is well known for guitar building, especially Latin instruments, and they do a very good job with this one. If you love to tinker around with different instruments and tones, this is a beautiful instrument.

Comments about Paracho Elite Havana Tres:

It's an ok instrument I guess, I have had it since 2002. The neck is extremely thick to the point of pain (at least for me) a spoiled guitar player maybe. Most tres have thick necks but this one overdid it, maybe to compensate for poor wood or construction. The tuning machines are not that great and it will go out of tune frequently, although again most Tres have tuning problems, partially due to the hard attack of the playing technique. My tres has an annoying intonation problem, and some of the frets are buzzing, all of these on the first string. I haven't really played it that much at atll in 5 years so it should not have that problem. The sound is real nice and authentic I must say, and truly it is the only readily available and affordable tres out there since the other ones I've seen go for over a thousand, they must be out of their minds.
