The Epiphone AJ-220S offers a solid Sitka spruce top acoustic with professional features at a great price!

The AJ-220S has a unique bell-like shape, a larger lower bout, and a small round upperbout which gives this new addition to our Advanced Jumbo family of guitars a unique voice. And the AJ-220S is made with Epiphone’s century’s worth of experience in crafting world-class guitars that are meant to be played.

Acoustic guitar players know it’s difficult to find an instrument that has both a deep bass tone and crisp loud projection. On a small stage with an acoustic band and little amplification, a good acoustic guitar should be able be heard and anchor a band. The AJ220S’s strong and balanced tone will make other acoustic players who have spent much more on their guitars wish they had gone to Epiphone instead. Like all our Epiphone acoustics, the AJ220S is legendary for being easy to set up and for staying in tune so no matter how much playing time you have, it's ready to go.

Comments about Epiphone AJ-220S Acoustic Guitar:

I use it most in my studio where I write music. I pick bluegrass and use it in my leads. The sustain and mellowness make it perfect flatpicking and ballads. Never under-estimate this little instrument. It has all the qualities of it's "more expensive" maker. For the price, this is probably the best guitar made.

Comments about Epiphone AJ-220S Acoustic Guitar:

Amazing Value in this guitar! A solid top Epiphone with deep bass! Better sound in my opinion than the equivalent Yamaha FG. Whats more, is you can get the VS finish for the same price... Yamaha charges more for the VS finish. With the exception of a loose Epiphone "e" logo on the pick guard, that seems to be common to the entire product line, the quality of this guitar is excellent. The finish is flawless. easy to play action, great feel to the matte finish neck and super loud! This guitar includes the front mounting point for a strap so you don't have to tie it on. There really isn't another guitar that can match the quality, features and performance of the AJ220S VS

Comments about Epiphone AJ-220S Acoustic Guitar:

The Epiphone AJ-220S is a really unique guitar in its price point. Three of its main features stick out to me. Its both bassy, loud, and clear. This is very hard to find in any acoustic guitar in general let alone one for that price. This would be a great guitar to bring to a campfire, beach or casual playing in general.

I recently toured the Gibson factory in Nashville, Tennessee, and one thing they thoroughly convinced me on is the quality of their epiphone product. Each one is hand inspected by a Gibson team member in the USA.

Big sound for a small price

        By

        from Edison, NJ

Comments about Epiphone AJ-220S Acoustic Guitar:

This is a great beginner acoustic guitar. Epiphone acoustics normally have a very big, full sound and the AJ-220s does not disappoint. The solid top adds to the great sound and durability of the guitar.

Comments about Epiphone AJ-220S Acoustic Guitar:

Epiphone is often considered the "gateway guitar:" There seem to be more people starting with then than any other guitar and for several good reasons. This guitar is built to last. The sound quality is great. And the price is nothing short of AWESOME!. The highs are clear, the mids ring through and the low end just rings for days. I am a huge fan of the body style and how the neck feels while I am holding it. This is a HIGHLY -RECCOMENDED instrument.
