The Martin DRSGT gives player an all-solid wood construction, onboard USB-equipped electronics and all the tone, quality and looks of the Martin Style 18 Dreadnought at an amazing value!

Representing a truly exceptional value, the Martin Road Series DRSGT gives players an affordable performance-ready dreadnought acoustic-electric that doesn't sacrifice that legendary Martin tone, quality and playability. For a powerful, well-balanced tone, the classic 14-fret dreadnought body of the DRSGT is made from the pairing of a gloss-finished solid Sitka spruce soundboard with solid sapele back & sides. For that traditional Martin vibe, the DRSGT faithfully mirrors the looks, tone and quality of a Martin Style 18 Dreadnought. For a superb fretting hand comfort and playability, the solid sipo neck is carved into Martin's Modified Low Oval profile and carries a 20-fret black richlite fingerboard. Style 28 dot fingerboard inlays provide that classic Martin aesthetic.

Whether you're performing on stage or recording in the studio, the DRSGT offers incredible plugged-in performance thanks to onboard Fishman Sonitone USB electronics. The convenient built-in USB port allows you to plug the DRSGT right into your computer and record directly into you're favorite recording software.

Rounding out this attractive package is a black richlite Modern Belly bridge with a 16"-radius compensated White Tusq saddle, a White Corian nut, a set of chrome enclosed tuning machines, and a protective hardshell case.

Comments about Martin DRSGT Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The DRSGT had all the features of the DRS2, but with a solid wood neck and a gloss finished top. It has great sound and looks like a REAL Martin. I had a couple of friends play it who are better than i am and it was awesome. One played it straight and one played it through the church's PA system and it was beauitiful then. I am well pleased with everything about it. Great feel, great sound, great finish. So good.

This Martin sounds great on its own. Rich tones and playability you'd expect from a Martin, nothing new here, just the same great sound that made Martin, well, Martin.

Now take that and give it the most simple Guitar - Computer option. No longer do we need to find balanced 1/4 cables to plug into interfaces of worry about mic placement getting in the way of playing in the studio. Just go directly from the guitar, USB, into the computer. No mixers or funny business, just good sounding recording in a simple and easy to operate guitar pre-amp/A-D converter.

The solid wood, the Fishman electronics, the USB port, and the hard shell case, need I say more? I would expect no less for an affordable Martin. The sound it delivers is as warm as the next Martin guitar. The USB port is a great addition making home recording that much easier.
