The BoxKit Pro cajon is a top-shelf instrument hand-crafted in the USA from the finest materials.  Featuring seven distinct “tone zones” ranging from a booming low-end to a crisp snare sound.  Versatile enough to be used as a standalone drum set, or alongside your current drum set-up.

Crafted from hand-selected 11-ply and 3-ply plantation grown Baltic Birch, known for its warm, tight, controlled tones.  Constructed with dowel joinery to provide strength and durability, and finished with lacquer to allow the wood to breathe and the tone to shine through.

Fully adjustable snare system not only allows you to dial in the perfect amount of snare tension, but also allows the snare to engage the front or top tapa (playing surface), depending on which playing position is being utilized. The snare system also has a “mute” position which eliminates the snare buzz altogether.

Large rubber feet enhance the low-end while improving the cajon’s overall resonance.

The BoxKit Pro comes with a unique pedal mounting system that allows you to play your cajon with a bass drum pedal.

It doesn't get any better

Comments about Moravian Percussion BoxKit Pro:

I use the boxkit like I use the Cajon but with more freedom of tones.
the sounds are clean throughout the entire box. My cajon sounds stale in comparison. There are many great aspects to the Boxkit. I like that I can mute the snare. Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves percussion. Skip the regular cajon and invest in the boxkit. You wont be sorry.

Comments about Moravian Percussion BoxKit Pro:

I have owned a BoxKit for over a year now, and I have easily played over 100 gigs with it, probably closer to 200. These are 4 hour nights, mostly in restaurants and bars in the Houston, Tx area. Everyone I work with is amazed by this, and often check with me to make sure that is what I'm bringing. It's perfect for low volume acoustice type settings. I play it like a drumset, with a high hat, bass drum pedal and a cymbal. I get all of the sounds I need out of it, including a sound very close to a rim click (takes some practice). Everywhere I take it, people ask me about it because they can't believe how it sounds. It has a very full bass drum sound, that easily fills up the room and when mic'd up works great too. The Snare sound is great and very adjustable as well. The description says it has 7 distinct sounds, but I get A LOT more than that. This has been one of the best investments I have ever made in my music career. There has been some wear and tear, it is easy to scratch, being wood, but the scratches I have are only visible up close, One single snare strand broke off inside, but there are still many more intact. I have had to replace my Bass Drum beater, but once again normal wear considering how much I play it. It's difficult to think of any negatives. Just a great Instrument all the way around.

Comments about Moravian Percussion BoxKit Pro:

The box kit is one of the most versatile percussion instruments available. I use it on acoustic shows, as a kit supplement, and to create loops with in the studio.
