Comments about Yamaha DTX450K 5-Piece Electronic Drum Kit:

I sell this to parents all the time that want their kid to learn drums, but they live in an apartment or a house where they have to worry about the noise. And you have to have something to practice on every day if you're going to be a good drummer.

Comments about Yamaha DTX450K 5-Piece Electronic Drum Kit:

Without a doubt THE bets budget electric drum kit. The padsfeel great for rubber and the sound sampls beat other comparable models by far! This thing is great for children OR adults since it can be set up low or high. And with the iphone app, you can go into the brain of the drum and adjust everything as if it were a higher end kit! In general a reall great option for anyone looking to learn or just needing a small set up or quiet practive tool.

Comments about Yamaha DTX450K 5-Piece Electronic Drum Kit:

The DTX series of electronic kits are the ones to beat in the new world of electronic drums and percussion.

You can buy an entry-level Roland with it's weird, unnatural and less adjustable pad set up, or you can cheap out and buy an Alesis, but both will be broken and rotting in a landfill years before this Yamaha even begins to show signs of play.

This electronic drum kit is a fantastic value that includes customizable sound settings through the drum module and extremely sensitive, zone-specific pads on the drums. Add in the sound quality from Yamaha sampling and the sturdiness of the drums and this drum kit is one of the best values for under $1000.

The Yamaha DTX450k is an electronic drumset that I suggest to every customer that is looking to buy their first kit. Although its a full 5 piece, 3 cymbal set its very portable with its compact structure. The sound quality is great with all 169 preset pads and it also offers 10 customizable kits where you can mix and match your favorite tones. Overall this is a great personal kit.
