A loud, booming cajon that is perfect for everything from small acoustic gigs to large concert halls.

The “Sonic Boom Cajon” from Pearl has a whole laundry list of innovative, high-end features. For one thing, the body is constructed of 100% Birch. This gives the cajon a warm, fat sound with plenty of attack. Birch is incredibly versatile and is capable of everything from sharp, crisp highs to booming, resonant lows. This makes it extremely popular amongst cajon builders and players alike. This cajon also features a backwards tilted front plate for more ergonomic playing. This prevents the player from having to hunch over to strike the cajon’s surface. As if this wasn’t enough it also features frontward facing bass port. This helps to focus out the sound while also providing more booming lows. Hand built in the USA, this cajon is perfect for everything from smaller acoustic gigs to larger amplified venues.

So, what are you waiting for? It’s never been easier to get the cajon of your dreams at a great price. Get your Pearl Sonic Boom Cajon from Sam Ash Direct today. Comments about Pearl Sonic Boom Cajon:

I played every Cajon at my local Sam Ash and kept coming back to this one every time. It has a unique deep tone that none of the others had and I like that it doesn't have the snare option on this model. The only thing I disliked was the big logos on the front of the drum. To me the graphics cheapen the instrument, even though it is one of the more expensive ones the loudness of those logos make it look like a beginner model. My guitar doesn't have a big Martin logo screaming on the top of it, I would expect the same from Pearl. But the sound of this drum is superb.

Comments about Pearl Sonic Boom Cajon:

This cajon gives you the best of both worlds, which is why I absolutely love it- it sounds great mike'd up and in acoustic settings. Even though it doesn't have snares, it has an awesome tone. It really gives you a punchy low end..the name Sonic Boom makes perfect sense.

Comments about Pearl Sonic Boom Cajon:

This cajon is perfect for acoustic accompaniment when you can't bring your full set to the gig. The deep, accurate bass sounds good as a stand-in for an actual kick drum and I've had a lot of success using it with the Gibraltar Cajon pedal (around $100), freeing up my hands for other aux percussion playing. I tried a lot of cajons before settling on this and I am more than happy with it!
