The Meinl Byzance Extra Dry Thin Crash is a unique, light-weight cymbal with an extremely dry characteristic and low fundamental pitch.

The Extra Dry Thin Crash's trashy overtones, soft response, and quick decay create an overall tone that is to die for. These cymbals are ideal for various styles of music such as jazz, folk, indie, pop, and more. The quick decay also makes them perfect for studio work. It's easy to see why so many pros have taken to the Byzance Extra Dry Thin series. These cymbals can be seen with some of the world's top players such as Benny Greb, Chris Coleman, and Mike Johnston.

Comments about Meinl Byzance Extra Dry Thin Crash Cymbal:

The videos of this crash available online do not even begin to do it justice. It sounds like the end of the universe, or a rip in the space-time continuum! Seriously though, I bought it as an interesting contrast to my other, more traditional crash cymbals and literally could not be more satisfied with it. 10/10.
