9000 Series offers heavy-duty and lighter weight stands in both straight and straight/boom configurations. DW designers, drummers and techs around the world insist on memory locks on the tube joints and the tripod leg assembly, plastic tube insulators, toothless tilters, large reset handles, secondary tilter locks, cymbal space adjusters and heavy gauge tubing. DW 9000 Series Stands deliver all of this and more.

Infinitely Adjustable Locking Spring Tension
The Infinitely Adjustable Locking Spring Tension feature allows for precise adjustment to offset the weight of the top cymbal, creating a customized feel.

Features:

    •  The Lateral Cymbal Seat is a first in hi-hat design, allowing instant access for adjusting the bottom cymbal angle; a small detail that makes a big difference.
    •  SM379 Locking Clutch
    •  The uni-body Folding Footboard stays attached to the base casting when secured in the folded position.
    •  The 505 Drop-Lock Clutch, which closes with a “click” of the oversized, rubber-coated latch, is a must when using the remote hi-hat and/or double pedal set up.
    •  Though the 8-foot removable wire cable is most popular, 2, 4, 6, 10-foot and custom lengths are also available as an option.
    •  The 9502LB comes complete with MG-1 and MG-2 Mega Clamp mounting hardware.

All DW hardware carries a 5 year limited warranty.

Comments about Drum Workshop 9502LB Cable Remote Hi Hat Assembly:

I bought this to replace my static secondary hats, as I wanted to be able to play foot patterns with both my main and 2nd hats. This is mounted on my right side, and I have to say I love it. The action is very smooth, and the footboard is perfect. I bought this instead of the Pearl because it comes with the mounting hardware, which is nearlt perfect. I wish both ends were adjustable, but I could easily get the angle and height I wanted. Only complaint is that the stand portion is much longer than the Pearl, so it can interfere with a tom if you wished to place it over or near one. But again, it's not a big problem for me. Considering buying another to replace my main hi-hat stand. Highly reccommended.

Comments about Drum Workshop 9502LB Cable Remote Hi Hat Assembly:

Great addition to my existing Gibraltar rack system. It provides the flexibility of placing the hi-hats in a position other than right above your foot. Comes with a quick release that works great for double bass set-ups.

This stand also allows you to tilt the stand on an angle that meets your needs.

Comments about Drum Workshop 9502LB Cable Remote Hi Hat Assembly:

I was impressed with the feel. Some remote hi-hats fell labored but this one feels very smooth. It's just like playing a regular hi-hat stand.
