This is the item no acoustic guitarist should EVER be without! The Dampit humidifies instrument tonewoods over long periods of time, helping to prevent against cracking and warping. Also helps on other instruments like orchestral strings or many different ethnic instruments. You've invested the money in your instrument; now protect it and lengthen its life! Incredibly easy to use over and over again.

Comments about Original Dampit Acoustic Guitar Humidifier:

Scott MacDonald [...] recently repaired an old Gibson of mine. The work was difficult and time consuming. He told me without Dampit in the guitar, it was likely that all that work would just go bad. So I now have Dampit in all my acoustic guitars and am so glad I did. In climates where you heat your home with a furnace, the humidity will plummet during the winter months. Dampit keeps the guitar's woods humidified so the wood doesn't crack and the glue doesn't come undone.
