61 full-sized keys, a Drawbar Organ Function, 820 tones, 260 rhythms, a tone and rhythm editor, a pitch bend wheel. You can also connect a CD or MP3 player, to hear to your favorite tunes through the keyboard speakers and play along.

The Casio CTK-7200 Portable Keyboard's Song Sequencer provides 16 tracks plus one system track that supports recording of up to five songs and a total of approximately 12,000 notes.  A 32-channel Mixer with button operation can be used for individual simultaneous adjustment of volume, pan, reverb send, and other parameters.

The Organ Drawbar Function in the CTK-7200 comes with 50 specially selected built-in drawbar organ tones. Nine sliders can be used to change harmonic overtone level settings and add percussion and click sounds for real-time sound creation as you play. A rotary speaker simulated using a built-in DSP provides the distinctive acoustic effect of drawbar organ speakers. Parameters can be edited to create original "user drawbar organ tones" and you can store up to 50 of your own presets in memory.

The Rhythm Editor lets you combine instrument parts from multiple built-in rhythms, turn individual instrument parts on or off, and adjust volume, pan, reverb, and other parameters to create your own original rhythms. You can even store up to 10 original rhythms in memory for instant recall whenever you need them.

Built-in digital effects include reverb (10 types), chorus (5 types), and DSP (100 types using 46 effect types including delay, phaser, flanger, wah, rotary, and more).Plus, you can create original DSP effects and store up to 100 original types in memory for later recall. The equalizer incorporates five selectable frequency characteristics, including “Bright” for a lively sound emphasizing the treble range and “Powerful” with a stress on volume.

A simple operation saves the current setup, including tone, rhythm, and other settings for instant recall when you need them. 4 sets x 8 banks for 32 setups. Recalling a registration instantly changes the digital keyboard's setup, making this a great tool for live stage performances. Tone Editor can be used to adjust attack time, release time, cut off, vibrato, reverb, chorus, DSP, and other parameters as desired.

You can create distinctively original tones for performances and music creation sessions. Song sequencer, tone editor, and other data can be saved to an SD or SDHC memory card. SMF (Standard MIDI File) data stored on an SD or SDHC memory card can be played back on the digital keyboard.

Let's face it. a keyboard with a drawbar is hard to find. WHY? How else can you accurately control your organ sounds? Then, when you do finally find a board with drawbars, they want an arm and a leg for them! Well, casio heard our woes and gave us this little gem.

A keyboard with a bunch of sounds, the ability to run a connected CD/MP3 player through the main speakers and ---DRAWBARS!---

Comments about Casio CTK-7200 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

This is the first keyboard to give a creative child. It will allow them to record themselves playing and listen back to what they've done. They can also write music with tons of voices and parts if they want. It's really a great introduction to sequencing and keyboard for next to nothing.

This is a real hands-on review from Josh @ Sam Ash Canoga Park.

Getting the hang of this keyboard has been a lot of fun. It's got professional features and good sounds.

Drawbars, 16 track sequencing, 2 track audio sampling, line level outputs as well as headphone outputs. Really impressed with the sounds and inexpensive to boot!

Comments about Casio CTK-7200 61-Key Portable Keyboard:

I run a rock group program out of Sam Ash Indianapolis, and for our keyboard players I need a keyboard that has a realistic feel, but also has nearly limitless sounds, because we're playing songs from countless different artists spanning 50 years of rock. This Casio covers both bases. While we don't necessarily get into some of the other features of the keyboard, like the 32 channel mixer or built in play-along rhythms, they're definitely useful tools for anyone who plays keyboards, especially if they write their own music. The fact that it can be battery powered is also a huge plus, so you can grab it and go anywhere to make music. And the price is unbeatable. I've always like Casio for their versatility, and this keyboard is a great example why.
