The Boulder Creek Riptide EUC-2N Concert Acoustic Electric Ukulele offers a bold new take on a traditional instrument that is stage ready for any venue. The EUC-2N features a solid spruce top, along with rosewood back and sides. Sporting a 2.75” body depth and a 24.25" length, the Riptide pumps out a lot of sound, and the spruce top delivers a warm tone. Boulder Creek has outfitted these ukuleles with their exclusive "Dual Port System"; a unique design which employs a pair of soundholes. The side hole projects the sound into your ear so you can really hear what you're playing. The body is also adorned with beautiful abalone binding along the edges as well as the rosettes around the two soundholes.
The Boulder Creek EUC-2N features their UK-300T pickup-preamp system which will deliver your sound when it’s time to hit the stage. The battery-powered system includes an onboard tuner, as well as volume, bass, and treble controls. The tuning gears look great and work perfectly. The Gloss finish compliments the abalone trim beautifully. Guitar players will appreciate the low action and the ease of playability. Case not included.

Comments about Boulder Creek Riptide EUC-2N Concert Acoustic Electric Ukulele:
Has the most guitar like sound of any ukulele I've played. Crisp and clear. But, if you are not accurate and clean in grabbing your chords it will punish you more than the average mellow Uke, especially when amplified. The amplification is even and sweet. When unplugged, the sound is comparable to a nice acoustic. The built in tuner is accurate and very convenient. Overall, it's worth the extra money. The only drawback is that it doesn't sound Hawaiian.
