Comments about Ibanez SR300L Left-Handed Electric Bass Guitar:

ok so i used to play bass exclusively for 10 years. then i switched to guitar. so a couple years ago i started feeling the urge to rock on bass again. i have never owned what i would consider a pro level bass. my first bass was a series 10 lefty that i bought when i first started playing in 1989. from what i remember i liked that bass. my next bass was a 1994 fender squier bass. i remember that bass well. it had a cheap feel to it but it played ok...but i think i remember the action being high like most the time and i never had it set up so go figure. but none the less it sounded pretty good. so i bought THIS bass SR300IPTL Left Handed 4 String Bass. and first of all when i got it and tuned it up it was all buzz. so i tweaked the neck and got it to play kind of ok. so anyway i took it to get set up at the place i have my guitar set up (Gibson SG) where they do an amazing job every time, and when i went to pick it up the guy was like "hey the neck on this bass, aint too good". it plays ok except the action is always a bit too high. so i ended up buying a american standard precision bass lefty.

Comments about Ibanez SR300L Left-Handed Electric Bass Guitar:

This is a good sounding bass. The EQ give a good fat bottom as well as clean highs. There was initially some fret buzz in the upper register right out the box, but a minor saddle adjustment settled that issue. The price is right and the sound is worth a whole lot more. A good lefty ax is hard to get a hold of.
