Blue Steel™ are the world's first and finest Cryogenic-processed strings and are a total breakthrough in string technology. Starting with the very finest quality materials, Blue Steel™ strings are frozen to minus 320 degrees Fahrenheit, held there for an exact period of time and then slowly and carefully brought back to their original temperature. This unique Cryogenic treatment realigns the molecular structure of the string, giving Blue Steel™ more highs and lows, a longer life and greater ability to stay in tune. Brilliant stainless steel, cryogenically processed electric strings for two to three times the life of regular strings and a feel to die for.

Comments about Dean Markley 2674 Blue Steel ML Electric Bass 4 String Set (45-105):

I had Ernie Balls on my bass before which went dull in a week.

These things seem to last forever and they have such a nasty (good nasty) tone. They made my 12 year old $180 new Ibanez sound like a brand new Spector or Warwick bass! They are really bright and clear, grunt in the low and, and are awesome for pick playing, finger picking, or slap and pop. They're also really easy to play on, and are really free flowing and bendable.

Best bass strings ever. Whether you own a bass or not, you need to get a pack of these strings! It's a real shame they aren't as popular as they should be.

Comments about Dean Markley 2674 Blue Steel ML Electric Bass 4 String Set (45-105):

I recently bought these Blue Steels as a set from the Sam Ash near me. I live in Norristown, PA. The first thing I noticed when I restringed the bass was how vibrant it sounded and the amount of life brought back into it's sound. I've tried a few other brands and they don't compare to this life and vibrancy. I love these strings and I think they'll become my main strings.
