Marcus Miller has personally worked with DR to develop a new and improved version of one of the best stainless round wound bass strings on the market. The effort took over a year, and the result is a "fatter, deeper, smoother" string that satisfied Marcus Miller's demanding standards. Fatter tone. Deeper sound, smoother feel and response are the qualities that separate Marcus Miller Fat-Beams from all other ordinary bass strings. They're also more consistent in feel along the length of the string, as well as string to string.

Gauges: .045; .065; .085; .105

Comments about DR Strings MM45 Fat Beams Marcus Miller Medium Electric Bass 4 String Set (45-105):

These are great strings and well worth the money.
They are pefect on a Fender Jazz(of course).
The smoothness of tone is really refreshing. Not dull or flat in the lows, but full and focused. The highs are not harsh:they just sing.Mids have good growl.
The round core has a very comfortable tension and they don't eat your frets. They do last for a while and die gradually, not all at once.I can highly recommend these strings!
