The Peavey Headliner Bass Amplifier Head gives you high power and an incredible range of features at your fingertips all in a lightweight, rackmountable package. With the Peavey Headliner Bass Amplifier Head, looks may be deceiving. Although the Headliner only weighs about 10 pounds, it sure does pack a mighty punch with 600 watts of maximum lightweight class D power. The 7-band graphic EQ is spaced at optimized frequencies and each slider provides 15 dB of cut and boost to provide comprehensive tone shaping at precise frequency bands. The Headliner also features low and high shelving-type controls you can use in conjunction with the graphic EQ to find the perfect tone for your bass. The convenience of the built-in optical compressor will allow you to add as much or as little compression as you need without having to use a separate compression pedal. The built-in crunch feature will enable you to have that vintage tube sound distorting at the higher frequencies while still maintaining that beefy low end that every bass player needs. Both the compressor and crunch features are footswitch selectable. The amp also features bright and countour switches, effects loop, master volume and headphone out. The built in XLR direct interface will allow you to route the signal to a speaker system or a recording device making this amp great for both performing as well as recording. With the active/passive pickup switch, the amplifier can compensate for hotter inputs. Peavey's exclusive DDT speaker protection circuitry senses the onset of clipping and responds with slight compression that allows the amp to retain the tone, headroom and dynamics.
