Comments about Hartke HD75 75-Watt 1x12" Bass Combo Amplifier:

You wont find a better bass combo at the price. 75 watts powering the Hartke hybrid 12" woofer gives great tone and punch in a small package. Graphic EQ on board with a built in AUX input jack let you get your tone dialed in while jammin to your favorite song on your ipod/ipad/smartphone. Also something you hardly ever see on small combo amps...a built in FX loop for all your pedals. FANTASTIC!!!

As we get older, lightweight becomes more important, but we don't want to compromise performance in the name of saving our back. The HD75 comes through and then some. With 75 watts and powerful tone shaping, the HD75 will be your go to bass amp for practice, rehearsals, or even small gigs!

Hartke HD75 Bass Combo Amp Review

Comments about Hartke HD75 75-Watt 1x12" Bass Combo Amplifier:

I've played through both the Hartke 75 and 150 watt combo bass amps, and I really like both quite a lot. First of all, both are very user friendly, which for me is honestly important. They both have a great sound, and I like how you can adjust the tone by both dial and graphic eq...it was very easy to get a well-rounded tone on every bass I played through them. The main difference between the two is power, and therefore, in my opinion, purpose. The 150 not only pushes more air, but also has a built-in XLR direct out, making it a great live amp in higher volume settings. Plus it's on casters, making transport that much easier. The 75, while it has all the tone and attack of the 150, obviously can't go as loud, and doesn't have the direct output...so in my opinion this would be better suited as either a practice amp or a great live amp in lower volume settings. Regardless which one might choose depending on their needs, for the price, both are awesome options for bassists beginning to professional. Highly recommend.

Always loved the Hydrive series from Hartke. The combination of paper/aluminum cone makes a really warm yet punchy combo. Great for smaller gigs or rehearsals, without compromising on tone. Hartke is a super strong product and looks like they are gonna keep on truckin on with this combo.

Comments about Hartke HD75 75-Watt 1x12" Bass Combo Amplifier:

In NYC, small venues like Rockwood eschew the need for SVT stacks when it comes to bass. The Hartke HD75 combo pumps out a lot of bass from its 1X12 to easily hang with drums and other instruments in 50-100 seat rooms, and the EQ and other features make it a great utilitarian amp for 4, 5, or 6 string basses as well as fretless. For tossing in a car trunk or even carrying on the subway, it is an ideal amp that does not sacrifice sound quality. This is a "hands on" review from John @ Samash music in Manhattan.

The Hartke HD75 75-Watt 1x12" Bass Combo Amplifier is a great little amp that packs quite a punch. It's perfect for small gigs and most rehearsing situations. At 75 watts you will still be heard above everyone, including your drummer who doesn't know dynamics. It's also not too heavy so when your wallet is heavy from savings, your back won't break.

The HD75 is a nice new addition to the Hartke bass combo lineup. The HD series brings the Hydrive speaker cones to their bass combos. The hybrid metal and paper cone provides the warmth from traditional speakers with an added brightness and punch that sounds great. The 7-band EQ is a nice addition where most bass combos only provide bass, mid, and treble. This amp comes with all the features you would want in a mid-power level bass combo. It has auxiliary in as well as an effects loop. The HD75 is great for practice and jamming with friends as it is lightweight and compact.
