I was really impressed with the new designed hydrive combo. at 75 watts it's loud enough for small gigs and practice. I've used it for studio recording and it is perfect. Great speakers that wont distort and pump out the bass tones. I am a staff reviewer at Sam ash Music Stores.

Comments about Hartke HD75 75-Watt 1x12" Bass Combo Amplifier:

Hartke's hybrid hydrive speaker (which is half aluminum, and half paper) is incredibly responsive. At barely a volume of 1, I was pushing enough air to feel it. The eq control (both bass, mid, treb, and graphic) are very expressive and allow for near infinite control of your tone. It offers headphone outs and line in as well, which makes it a great amp for stage, rehearsal and practice. Great amp. This review was written by a Sam Ash employee.

Versatile amp for the price. Although best for home use and practice, it has enough juice to play small venues and the EQ control makes it really good for recording. This amp is not to be overlooked!

Comments about Hartke HD75 75-Watt 1x12" Bass Combo Amplifier:

12'' speakers are the perfect middle ground for someone looking to get more low end growl than a 10'' without the loss of clarity of a 15''. If you're looking for a high quality practice amp - you've found it. If you're looking for an excellent mic'd recording amp - you've found it.

Ideal for smaller stages and rehearsal spaces this 75 watt amp packs a punch. The 12' hybrid paper/aluminum speaker combines the best of both worlds, the warmth of a paper cone and the projection of aluminum. The built-in headphone jack makes it easy to practice without disturbing others.

The little brother of the HD150. Still powerful enough @ 75W and with a 12" speaker you should be able to cover most mid-size live gigs. Great for bedroom practicing - phone/mp3 input for jamming along and headphones out. The passive/active input option is a nice touch for those with active pickups out there. Plenty of features for the money. Great buy. Staff reviewer @ Sam Ash
