Comments about Hartke HD150 150-Watt 1x15" Bass Combo Amplifier:

This is a solid amp for smaller gigs, jamming or home recording/rehearsals. The 15" aluminum/paper hybrid cone gives a nice deep, balanced tone. This amp is relatively portable given it's 150-watt power, too. Hard to beat the value for something in this range!

Comments about Hartke HD150 150-Watt 1x15" Bass Combo Amplifier:

You wont find a better bass combo at the price. 150 watts powering the Hartke hybrid 15" woofer gives great tone and punch in a small package. Graphic EQ on board with a built in AUX input jack let you get your tone dialed in while jammin to your favorite song on your ipod/ipad/smartphone. Also something you hardly ever see on small combo amps...a built in FX loop for all your pedals. The added Direct Output on the HD150 is great for live bands to get hat great bass tonbe to the Mixer without the hassle of a mic. FANTASTIC LITTLE AMP!!

            Hartke Bass Combo Amp Review

Comments about Hartke HD150 150-Watt 1x15" Bass Combo Amplifier:

I've played through both the Hartke 75 and 150 watt combo bass amps, and I really like both quite a lot. First of all, both are very user friendly, which for me is honestly important. They both have a great sound, and I like how you can adjust the tone by both dial and graphic eq...it was very easy to get a well-rounded tone on every bass I played through them. The main difference between the two is power, and therefore, in my opinion, purpose. The 150 not only pushes more air, but also has a built-in XLR direct out, making it a great live amp in higher volume settings. Plus it's on casters, making transport that much easier. The 75, while it has all the tone and attack of the 150, obviously can't go as loud, and doesn't have the direct output...so in my opinion this would be better suited as either a practice amp or a great live amp in lower volume settings. Regardless which one might choose depending on their needs, for the price, both are awesome options for bassists beginning to professional. Highly recommend.

If you get in a fight with this amp, this amp is surely going to win. The Hartke HD150 is all the bass sound you will need for anything below large venue gigs. The 7-band EQ allows you to dial in the perfect tone for any room. The XLR direct out gives you more mixing options from any sound system. Its small enough to make it easy to move around (the casters help!), and its big enough to not only boost your sound, but to boost your happiness.

At 150 watts, it will make you heard over everyone else in your band, even your way too loud drummer. The wheels are a great plus so you don't have to kill yourself lugging it around everywhere.

The HD150 is a great amp for practice and playing smaller venues. There's no need to haul your big rig out to a smaller gig. This amp has just enough power to get through playing smaller gigs, and has a direct output for going to the soundboard for medium size venues. The 15" speaker provides ample low end, while the tweeter helps cover the upper frequencies. Casters are provided which makes transport very easy.
