The LH1000 Bass Amplifier Head is a light-weight, simplistic, road-worthy powerhouse that will add a variety of incredible tones to your live bass rig.

With 1000 watts and classic 12AX7 Class-A tube preamp, the LH1000 provides bass players with an abundance of power and amazing tone. The LH1000 features Treble and Bass Shelving as well as mid peak controls which will allow you to produce a broad range of tonal colors to the amps natural, warm tone. If your looking to shape your sound even further, the LH1000 also features Brite and Limiter switches.

Today’s amplifiers seem to all be about one thing, control. So much so that they’ve almost become too complicated to use and aren’t quite user friendly. The LH1000 on the other hand doesn’t necessitate an engineering degree to adjust your tone. The simplistic and intuitive front panel of the LH1000 gives you all of the range and dynamics of more complicated amps but without the headache. Although the LH1000 is a perfect complement to the Hartke HyDrive cabinets, it also works as a seamless accompaniment to any bass cab on the market.

Whether your playing small venues or huge stadiums, the power that the LH1000 puts out makes this amplifier head ideal for the gigging musician. The LH1000 features a light-weight, rugged construction as well as two-rackspace, metal frame chassis,  a steel faceplate and handles which make this amp extremely road-worthy.

The LH1000's raw, reliable power is also perfect for additional shaping through your effects console or stomp box. With all the necessary features for complete tonal control, along with ample power and rugged design, the LH1000 will ensure your bass playing receives the positive attention it deserves.

Comments about Hartke LH1000 Bass Amplifier Head:

I got this amp head on saturday afternoon from sam ash direct, took it to a club gig that same night.I have the hartke hydrive 8-10 cab under the lh1000.It sounded good in the band room at home, with the 3 band eq set at 12 o'clock, always a good sign. Then during my sound check, my band mates said"wow the rick 4003 is sounding amazing tonite!!!" But it was this lh1000!! I bridged the output, hooked up the cab with a speakon to speakon cable, and off i went. The stage we were on is a rather large one, with side fill monitors and all, and with the volume at 3.5 it was plenty of stage volume.I am amazed at at any volume level, even with my single coiled rick, and bright switch engaged and tweeter in cab on, there was no noticeable hiss or hum.Amazing tone, headroom galore, and so easy to set and go,with no noise, this amp is a keeper.

Comments about Hartke LH1000 Bass Amplifier Head:

I picked up one of these amps at my local Sam Ash last week and hooked it up to a 500W 15" Hydrive cabinet. Unreal power. I fired it up at the house and started hearing some complaints about how I was shaking the house into dust. The amp has only three controls to boost or attenuate highs, mids, and lows, but combined with the treble and 2 pickup controls on my Fender Geddy bass, the amp allows for plenty shaping of your sound, depending on the style you are playing. I've been on reggae, latin, and Led Zeppelin kicks lately, and the amp is covering it all with ease. I am not much of a slap/popper, but from dabbling the amp seems like it would also handle that style well.

I initially bought a Hydrive combo amp but decided to trade up to this after the combo amp tended to buzz every time I played a low A. No such problem here with this amp and a Hydrive cabinet. I am getting clean and gooey bass on demand. I intend to add another Hydrive cabinet soon, maybe a 4 x 10" if I don't decide to add another 15" cabinet and shake the entire planet into dust with some low freqency reggae basslines.

My gigging days are over, but I enjoy playing every day. Having such a great amp and cabinet is freeing me up to continue to develop as a bassist without being held up by equipment issues. Buying new equipment will never solve all your problems as a musician, but good gear can solve some problems. The great price on this amp means you can get into some professional quality gear without breaking the bank. I still can't believe the great price on this amp.

Music is love! Good times, everybody.
