The 665 Series has a Sterling Silver Headjoint, with Silver Clad Body, Footjoint and Keys. Silver Head, Open Hole, B Foot w/gizmo, Offset G & Split E, comes with case.

Every Quantz model has French Pointed Arms. Once considered solely the domain of handmade flutes, it is now universally provided by Pearl. French Pointed Arms afford unmatched quickness of speed. When this is matched with their patented Pinless Mechanism and One-Piece Core-Bar Construction, the combinations are dramatic. After all of this time, the Pearl Quantz Series is still the only flute to use these features on every one of their flutes - an industry hallmark!

Comments about Pearl Flutes 665RBE Quantz Series Open Hole Flute (B Foot:

I purchased my RBE 665 14 years ago and have never regretted it. I had it adjusted once, just because I was used to having a flute that needed it every summer. HUGE mistake! It didn't really need it and once I had someone who knew about Pearl flutes and the pinless system correct what the other repairman had done I've never had it looked at since. The pads have held up beautifully. I played daily for 2-3 hours through all 5 years of college and have played off and on since then and am now getting back into playing it more seriously. I have had many other knowledgeable flutists comment on the beautiful timbre of my flute and ask what it was. If I ever had to replace this flute (which I highly doubt will happen) I would without hesitation get another Pearl. It's also what I recommend to my flute students.

Comments about Pearl Flutes 665RBE Quantz Series Open Hole Flute (B Foot:

I have only tested this flute, while helping a student shop, but I was AMAZED at the sound of this instrument. It is a very responsive flute, and I didn't even know it was only silver plated (body), until AFTER trying and liking the flute. This is a LOT of flute for the money. It played almost exactly the same as the all silver model, which makes this a GREAT step-up flute without having to spend twice the money on all silver. I'd consider having one of these as a back-up flute, (my professional flute is a handmade 9k Gold flute) because I'm so thrilled with the sound of this instrument.

I have had this flute for about a year and a half now and I couldn't ask for anything more. As a intermediate to advance student I have really enjoyed this flute. The holes are really easy to cover and it gives a beautiful sound.

Three years on shells and hardware. One year on hi hat cables, wood hoops, marching/educational products, and lacquer finish.
