    For me, Hemke are the best brand for a big fat sound. If you are a fan of Ben Webster or Grady Gaines or Gene Ammons - - that end of the spectrum - - you might like these. If you want a skinny bright paint-peeling sound then I don't know whether these will help or not.

      This reed gives a good response and doesn't wear out as easily as other reeds. Good for jazz and concert occasions.
